The candidate for this position must be able to maintain and support all network hardware and software, server/workstation hardware and software, and peripheral hardware to assist all levels of the organization in achieving objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve:
  • Network hardware and software related issues
  • Server/workstation hardware and software issues
  • Peripheral hardware issues (copiers, fax machines, printers, etc)
  • Vendor and proprietary application errors
• Daily monitoring of network event logs for critical alerts
• Perform daily operations including backups, updating virus definitions, and maintaining application availability
• Maintain, upgrade, and deploy vendor products as well as internal proprietary software
• Provide support with third party applications and contact vendors when additional support is needed
• Administer Active Directory, Exchange server, and the phone system
• Configure new pc and server hardware and software
• Maintaining hardware inventory and software licensing

Required Skills:

• 2-5 years experience working as an IT Professiona

United One Resources is currently looking for an application developer for a full time position. The candidate for this position must demonstrate superior problem solving skills, organization, self discipline, creativity, and the ability to be a team participant.

The application developer performs analysis, design, programming, modification and evaluation of software products and/or customer applications; writes the code, completes the programming, testing and debugging of applications.  This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the operating system and providing technical assistance and explanation of features to other employees on an as needed basis.

Responsibilities:

• Perform complex analysis, design, programming and modification of computer software products and customer applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Write code, document, test and debug applications.
• Create performance specs, test procedures and assist and support continuing improvement of the programming function.
• Maintain updates on project status and drive products towards acceptable completion dates.  Control, track, monitor and maintain project schedules and work flow.  Evaluate degree of effectiveness of results and report same to management.
• Design and analyze large, mission critical Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Coordinate assignments with peers and supervision to meet deadlines, quality control requirements and business requirements.
• Maintain communications and effective coordination with other department functions, including operations, supervision, human resources, customer service, accounting and sales.
• Ability to suggest creative ideas to make certain business processes more efficient.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned.

Required Skills:

• 2-5 years experience working with VB .NET or C#
• Knowledge and understanding of Object Oriented Programming
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work on a team
• Knowledge of AJAX and ASP.NET is highly desirable
