IMPORTANT MESSAGE REGARDING PA RECORDING FEES IN REGARDS TO THE PA STATE BUDGET:
EFFECTIVE 8/1/2023 – If the PA state budget does not pass, the recording fees will be changed to adjust for a fee that cannot be charged due to its expiration. It applies to any document (deed, mortgage, assignment, satisfaction and others) that charges the JCS/ATJ fee of $40.25 will be reduced to $19.00. This will reduce recording fees for these documents by $21.25. It will remain this way until the state budget passes. Please check with your PA Recorder of Deeds to verify the recording fees.
